The Regatta Frankie Men's Half Zip Fleece is designed for adult males seeking a durable and comfortable mid-layer for fluctuating weather conditions. Its key benefit lies in providing cosy warmth from soft microfleece combined with enhanced protection from tough poplin panels, making it ideal for outdoor activities or casual wear. A potential caveat is its suitability primarily as a layering piece, rather than a standalone jacket in harsh weather. Key features include a soft microfleece main body, protective poplin panels, a convenient zipped chest pocket, and a half-zip neck for adjustable ventilation.

Its primary purpose is to serve as a warm and comfortable mid-layer, ideal for outdoor activities or casual everyday wear in cool or changeable weather conditions.
It is made from a combination of 70% polyester/30% polyester micro fleece (210 gsm) for the main body and 63% polyester/37% polyester micro poplin with PA coating (84 gsm) for protective panels.
The half-zip neck allows you to easily adjust ventilation. Zip it up for maximum warmth or unzip it to cool down.
While it offers some protection, it is best suited as a mid-layer. For very cold or wet conditions, it is recommended to wear a waterproof or windproof outer shell over it.
Machine wash at 40°C, do not bleach, tumble dry on low heat, iron on low heat, and do not dry clean.
Yes, it features one zipped chest pocket for secure storage of small personal items.
This specific product is designed for men ('men's half zip fleece'). Regatta may offer similar styles for women.
Ensure the fleece is properly dried on a low heat setting in a tumble dryer. Avoid using fabric softeners, which can reduce the insulating properties of microfleece.
Check for any fabric caught in the zipper. Gently try to pull the fabric away. You can also use a graphite pencil or a small amount of wax to lubricate the zipper teeth.
Some pilling may occur with regular wear, especially on microfleece. Washing inside out on a gentle cycle and avoiding excessive friction can help minimize this. Ensure correct washing and drying temperatures are followed.
Setup: The Regatta Frankie Half Zip Fleece requires no setup; it is ready to wear upon purchase.
Compatibility: This fleece is designed as a versatile mid-layer and is compatible with various outer shells (waterproof jackets, windbreakers) and base layers. It is suitable for adult men.
