Product Information

Full details

The Havaianas Top Sandals in black are designed for men seeking a classic, comfortable, and versatile footwear option. Their primary benefit lies in their durable, water-resistant, and slip-resistant rubber construction, making them ideal for beach, pool, or casual everyday wear. A potential caveat is their simple design, which may not suit those looking for extensive arch support or a more formal aesthetic. Inspired by the Bauhaus movement, these Brazilian-made flip-flops feature a signature Greek frieze pattern on the straps and unique sole textures.

FAQs

Are these sandals suitable for swimming?

Yes, the rubber material is water-resistant, making them suitable for wear in and around water.

Do they offer good arch support?

The Havaianas Top Sandals have a flat sole with minimal built-in arch support. They are designed for comfort rather than specialized orthopedic support.

How should I choose my size?

Refer to the sizing chart provided by Havaianas, as sizes can differ from standard shoe sizing. Generally, they fit true to the marked size.

Can I wear these for long walks?

While comfortable for short distances, they may not provide enough support or cushioning for very long walks or strenuous activities.

What is the 'Bauhaus' inspiration?

The design incorporates elements and patterns inspired by the German Bauhaus art movement, reflected in the sole's textures and overall aesthetic.

How do I clean them if they get dirty?

Simply rinse them with water and use a soft cloth to wipe them clean. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Are these unisex?

While this specific model is listed as male, Havaianas offers similar 'Top' models in various colors that are suitable for all genders.

Troubleshooting

Sand stuck in sole patterns

Rinse the sandals under running water or use a soft brush to dislodge trapped sand.

Slightly stiff when new

Wear them around the house for a short period to break them in. The rubber will naturally soften with use.

Discoloration

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. If discoloration occurs, clean with a mild soap and water and air dry.

Slippery surface despite pattern

Ensure the sole and the walking surface are clean. For new sandals, the initial smoothness might require a brief break-in period.
