FAQs
How do I determine the correct size for my Havaianas flip-flops?
When purchasing Havaianas, use the BR/Supplier size as your primary reference, as it is equivalent to the EU size. The size marked on the sole might not directly correspond to UK or EU sizing conventions.
Are these flip-flops suitable for swimming?
Yes, the flip-flops are water-resistant and can be worn in and around pools or the sea. However, they are not designed for actual swimming performance.
Can I wear these for a full day of walking?
While comfortable for casual wear and short walks, they offer minimal arch support. For extended periods of walking or standing, other footwear options might be more suitable.
How do I clean my Havaianas flip-flops?
Clean them by hand with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely, away from direct heat.
Are these flip-flops suitable for wide feet?
The standard fit of Havaianas flip-flops may be narrow for individuals with very wide feet. Trying them on or consulting customer reviews regarding fit is recommended.
What is the sole made of?
The sole is made of rubber, offering durability, comfort, and resistance to heat and water.
Are the straps adjustable?
No, the PVC straps are not adjustable. They are designed to fit a standard foot width.
Troubleshooting
Flip-flops feel too tight or loose.
Ensure you have consulted the BR/Supplier sizing guide for EU conversion. If still ill-fitting, consider exchanging for a different size based on the guide.
Straps are uncomfortable.
For the first few wears, the PVC straps might feel stiff. Wear them for short periods indoors to allow them to mold to your feet. Avoid prolonged wear until they become more pliable.
Soles appear slippery after initial use.
Ensure the soles are clean and free from any residue. For new flip-flops, slight slipperiness can occur. Regular use on varied surfaces will help improve grip.
