FAQs

Can the cover be removed for washing?

The cover is not intended to be removed; professional upholstery cleaning is recommended for deep stains.

Is the pouf heavy?

No, it is designed to be lightweight enough for most adults to easily pick up and relocate.

Does the base scratch hardwood floors?

The wooden base is designed to sit flush, but you can add felt pads to the underside for extra protection on sensitive surfaces.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

No, the velour fabric and internal construction are designed strictly for indoor use.

What is the weight limit for sitting?

While intended for standard seating, it is engineered to support the weight of an average adult comfortably.

Troubleshooting

The pouf seems slightly uneven on the floor

Ensure the concealed wooden base is resting on a level surface; check for any small debris trapped under the bottom plate.

Surface marks or flattened pile on the velour

Use a soft upholstery brush to gently lift the nap of the fabric in the direction of the grain.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High-quality velour fabric offers a premium, warm feel
Dual-density foam provides excellent comfort and long-term shape retention
Sturdy construction with an integrated wooden base plate
Lightweight and easy to reposition throughout the house

Cons

No internal storage compartment
Velour fabric may be sensitive to spills or heavy soiling
Light colors might show wear or stains more prominently than darker variants

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is minimal as the pouf arrives fully assembled and ready for use. Compatibility-wise, the blue velour finish pairs exceptionally well with neutral-toned sofas or can act as a bold focal point against wood-toned flooring. To maintain the appearance of the velour, it is recommended to gently vacuum the surface using a soft brush attachment to remove dust. If a spill occurs, blot—do not rub—the area immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Avoid placing the pouf in direct, intense sunlight to prevent fading of the blue pigment over time.
