Product Information

Full details

The Normann Copenhagen Circus Velour Pouf is designed for individuals seeking a blend of contemporary aesthetics and practical, portable comfort in their living spaces. Its primary benefit lies in its dual-density foam construction, which provides both stability and a soft seating surface, making it an excellent addition to lounges or reading nooks. One caveat to keep in mind is that as a floor-based piece, it lacks back support, which may not be ideal for extended work sessions.

FAQs

What are the exact dimensions of the pouf?

The pouf measures 65cm in length, 65cm in width, and 35cm in height.

Can I use this as a coffee table?

Yes, it works well as a coffee table if you place a firm, stable tray on top of the surface.

Is the cover removable for washing?

The cover is not designed to be removed; professional upholstery cleaning is recommended for deep stains.

How heavy is the pouf?

The pouf is designed to be lightweight and portable, making it easy to move between rooms as needed.

Is the velour fabric durable?

The pouf is finished in a closely woven velour which is designed for standard residential use and daily wear.

Troubleshooting

Pouf appears to have indentations from heavy objects

Rotate the pouf periodically and allow the foam to decompress naturally over time.

Visible dust or lint on the fabric

Use a lint roller or a soft-bristled upholstery brush to gently lift debris from the velour pile.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Lightweight and easy to move between rooms
Sturdy construction prevents sagging over time
Soft-touch fabric enhances room texture
Ideal for versatile use as a footrest or occasional seat
Low-profile design that does not overwhelm small rooms

Cons

Does not provide back support for long-term sitting
Velour fabric may require specific care to avoid staining
No legs mean the base is always in contact with the floor

Setup, Compatibility & Care

The pouf arrives ready to use right out of the box with no assembly required. To ensure longevity, place it on clean, level surfaces to prevent abrasion to the base. For routine care, keep the velour surface free of dust by using a soft brush or a vacuum attachment on a low suction setting. In the event of a spill, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub the fabric, as this can damage the texture of the velour.
