No, machine washing can damage the suede upper and the structure of the shoe. Stick to dry brushing and spot cleaning.
The lace-up design allows for some adjustment, but the standard fit is designed for average-width feet.
The gum sole provides excellent indoor traction and is a staple of the classic handball aesthetic.
Yes, a suede-safe water repellent spray can help protect the material from light moisture and dirt.
Measure the child's foot from heel to toe and allow a small amount of 'wiggle room' for growth before consulting the sizing guide.
Consider a double knot or replacing the standard laces with slightly longer ones for better security.
Use a specialized suede eraser or a soft suede brush to gently lift and remove surface scuffs.
Remove the insole if possible to air out, or sprinkle a small amount of baby-safe shoe powder inside.
To ensure the best experience, ensure the laces are threaded properly to provide a snug fit across the arch without being too tight for the child. For care, it is essential to use a suede-specific brush to remove surface dust or dry mud regularly. Avoid soaking the shoes in water or putting them in a washing machine, as this can ruin the suede texture and compromise the adhesives. If the shoes get wet, let them air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the material from cracking or warping.
