The adidas Originals Handball Spezial trainers are designed for infants who need a blend of classic vintage style and everyday comfort. Originally engineered for elite handball players in 1979, these iconic shoes provide a reliable, supportive fit through an OrthoLite sock liner and secure lace fastening, though the suede material requires careful maintenance to keep the vibrant pink and purple finish looking its best.

No, machine washing can destroy the texture of the suede and weaken the glue holding the outsole to the upper.
OrthoLite liners provide long-term cushioning, breathability, and moisture management, which helps keep the inside of the shoe fresh.
The UK Size 2 is designed for infants. We recommend measuring the foot from heel to toe and comparing it against the adidas size chart to account for growing room.
No, the suede material is naturally porous and will absorb water. It is not waterproof.
Use a double knot or replace with shorter, textured laces that provide more friction.
Use a suede brush or a clean, dry toothbrush to gently agitate the fibers back to their original nap.
Use a damp cloth with a tiny amount of mild soap to wipe the edge of the rubber sole.
