FAQs
Is the Altra Olympus 7 suitable for wide feet?
The Olympus series typically offers a generous toe box design that accommodates a variety of foot shapes comfortably.
Can I use these shoes for trail running?
While the Olympus 7 is highly durable and stable, ensure your specific variant matches your performance needs as the series ranges from trainers to hiking-specific builds.
How should I clean the blue fabric upper?
Use a soft-bristled brush and mild soap to gently scrub away surface stains, then rinse lightly and air dry.
Does this shoe provide arch support?
The shoe features a balanced cushioning platform designed to support natural foot movement rather than using rigid, corrective arch structures.
Are the laces replaceable?
Yes, you can swap the standard laces for aftermarket alternatives if you prefer a different color or tension-locking system.
Troubleshooting
Feeling discomfort during the break-in period.
This is normal for users transitioning to Altra's platform. Limit wear to short periods initially and gradually increase duration over two weeks.
The shoe feels damp inside after use.
Remove the laces and pull the tongue forward; take out the inner sole to facilitate faster drying in a well-ventilated space.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best experience with your Altra Olympus 7, ensure you have selected the correct size; the UK 6.5 fits standard adult sizing profiles. Since these are low shoes, pair them with technical or cushioned socks to maximize moisture management and comfort.
Care Instructions:
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth after exposure to mud or dirt.
- Air dry in a cool, shaded area; avoid direct heat sources like radiators which can damage materials.
- Remove the insole occasionally to allow the shoe to breathe and dry out completely between wears.
- Do not submerge in a washing machine, as this can degrade the specialized bonding agents.
