The New Balance 740 Trainers are designed for adult women who appreciate a blend of 2000s-inspired athletic heritage and contemporary street-style comfort. These trainers provide a reliable, breathable experience for everyday wear, though users should note that they are styled primarily for lifestyle use rather than high-intensity technical performance. Featuring a distinctive green and silver colorway, they offer a durable mesh build with structured overlays to support your daily movement.

While inspired by running aesthetics, these are primarily designed as lifestyle trainers for walking and everyday use, not for high-intensity running.
Use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water, being careful to avoid scrubbing the metallic silver finish too aggressively.
Both models share the iconic 2000s design language, though the V2 may feature slight technical adjustments to the sole or upper overlays; always check your specific MPN.
Yes, they generally fit true to standard adult sizing, though if you prefer a looser feel with thicker socks, you may want to consider your standard athletic shoe size.
It is not recommended to machine wash these trainers as it can damage the glue, materials, and metallic finish. Manual cleaning is best.
Use a double knot or consider replacing with flatter athletic laces if you find they slip easily.
Use a soft-bristled brush or an old, dry toothbrush to gently dislodge dust from the mesh fabric.
Use shoe trees when not in use to help the upper maintain its original shape.
Because these are slip-on trainers, setup is simply a matter of proper lacing. We recommend loosening the laces initially to accommodate your foot shape and then adjusting for a secure, supportive fit. For compatibility, the size 5 UK fits standard sizing; however, since these are part of the 740 series, it is recommended to ensure your specific sub-model (740 or 740 V2) matches your typical New Balance sizing habits. To care for your trainers, gently wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Avoid submerging them in water or using harsh detergents, as this can degrade the materials and the silver accents.
