Product Information
Full details
The Saucony ProGrid Guide 7 is a premium retro-styled trainer designed for adults who value a blend of heritage aesthetics and modern comfort. Originally setting standards in the early 2000s for customization and bold color palettes, this re-release offers a robust foundation of protection and support for everyday wear. While it excels in casual styling and long-lasting comfort, users should note that its design leans toward a heritage fit rather than the technical specifications of high-performance contemporary racing shoes.

FAQs
Is the Saucony ProGrid Guide 7 suitable for running?
While it maintains original running DNA, it is best suited for casual, daily activity and lifestyle use rather than professional training.
How do I determine my size?
The models follow standard UK adult sizing. It is recommended to choose your usual trainer size.
Are these shoes water-resistant?
No, the materials are breathable and not specifically treated for water resistance. Avoid heavy rain to protect the fabric.
Can I replace the insoles?
Yes, the insoles are removable and can be swapped for custom orthotics if required.
How often should I clean them?
Light cleaning after heavy use is recommended to prevent dirt from setting into the fabric fibers.
Troubleshooting
Trainer feels slightly tight upon first wear
Loosen the lacing system completely and re-tie it to accommodate your specific foot volume; the material will soften with natural wear.
Visible dirt on the green upper material
Use a specialized sneaker cleaning foam and a soft microfiber cloth; avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may affect the fabric dye.
Pros and Cons
Pros

- Excellent daily comfort and support

Cons
- Not intended for high-intensity competitive running
- Limited to specific retro-inspired size and width profiles
- Less breathable than ultra-lightweight modern mesh trainers
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Saucony ProGrid Guide 7 trainers remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking In: These shoes generally fit true to size. Wear them for short durations indoors initially to allow the padding to mold to your foot shape.
- Compatibility: These trainers pair best with casual trousers, jeans, or athleisure wear. They are versatile enough for most smart-casual environments.
- Care Instructions: Clean the exterior using a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt. For deeper stains, use a mild detergent mixed with water and a cloth; do not machine wash or tumble dry, as high heat can damage the cushioning adhesives.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading and material degradation.
