FAQs

Are these shoes waterproof?

The XT EVR is designed for breathability and everyday comfort; while they handle light moisture, they are not classified as fully waterproof.

Can I use these for marathon running?

No, these are lifestyle trainers inspired by trail design, not technical running shoes intended for high-mileage athletic performance.

How do I know which size to buy?

These follow standard UK adult sizing. It is recommended to choose the same size you typically wear in other casual athletic footwear.

What kind of surfaces are they best for?

They are optimized for urban environments including pavement, concrete, and light, well-maintained park trails.

How should I clean the exterior?

Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt and a damp cloth for spots. Do not submerge or machine wash.

Are these shoes unisex?

The model is specifically designed for a female fit profile.

Troubleshooting

Inner lining feeling slightly snug

Loosen the lacing system throughout the midfoot to allow the material to flex more naturally to your foot width.

Accumulation of dust in the mesh

Use a dry, soft-bristled brush to gently agitate the mesh, then wipe with a slightly damp cloth.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Salomon XT EVR trainers maintain their performance, follow these guidelines:

Sizing: These shoes follow standard UK sizing; ensure you select your regular size as the design provides a comfortable, standard fit.
Break-in Period: While comfortable out of the box, we recommend wearing them for shorter walks initially to allow the materials to adapt to your foot.
Cleaning: Remove surface dirt with a soft brush. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap; avoid soaking the shoes or using a washing machine, as this can degrade the specialized materials.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material fading and structural degradation.
