Full details
The Kanto YU2 desktop mini-monitors are designed for home users seeking rich, detailed audio from a compact speaker system. They offer high-quality sound streaming directly via USB or traditional AUX input, with composite drivers and silk dome tweeters for clear highs and distortion-free bass. A potential caveat is the compact size, which may not satisfy users seeking extremely deep bass without an external subwoofer.

FAQs
Can I connect these speakers to my TV?
Yes, if your TV has a 3.5mm headphone or audio output jack, you can connect the Kanto YU2 speakers using the included AUX cable.
Do I need a separate amplifier for these speakers?
No, the Kanto YU2 speakers are powered and have a built-in amplifier. They do not require an external amplifier.
What is the purpose of the SUB OUT port?
The SUB OUT port allows you to connect an optional powered subwoofer, which can enhance the bass response of the system for a more powerful low-end experience.
How do I switch between USB and AUX input?
The YU2 speakers automatically prioritize the USB input when it is connected. If you wish to use the AUX input, simply disconnect the USB cable. The system defaults to AUX when USB is not detected.
Are the speaker grilles removable?
The speaker grilles on the Kanto YU2 are typically attached and not designed for easy removal to maintain acoustic integrity and protect the drivers.
What is the warranty period for the Kanto YU2 speakers?
Please refer to Kanto's official website or your purchase documentation for the most current warranty information, as it can vary by region and retailer.
Can I use these speakers for surround sound?
The Kanto YU2 are stereo desktop speakers and are designed for stereo audio output. They are not intended for surround sound setups.
Troubleshooting
No sound from speakers
Ensure the speakers are powered on. Check that the volume is turned up. Verify that the correct audio input (USB or AUX) is selected and properly connected. Test with a different audio source or cable.
Humming or buzzing noise
Ensure all cables are securely connected. Try using a different power outlet. If using AUX, check for interference from other electronic devices. If using USB, try a different USB port on your computer.
Distorted or muffled sound
Reduce the volume slightly. Check for any blockages in the bass port. Ensure the audio source is not sending a distorted signal. Clean speaker drivers gently if dust is visible.
USB connection not recognized
Try a different USB port on your computer. Reinstall any necessary drivers if prompted (though typically plug-and-play). Ensure the USB cable is fully inserted into both the speaker and the computer.
