Yes, Calke Green is designed to be versatile and performs well on woodwork when the correct paint finish is selected for the surface.
Old White is highly recommended by Farrow & Ball to enhance the deep sage notes, though other neutral tones can also work depending on your light.
While it can be used in many rooms, ensure you are using the correct formulation of Farrow & Ball paint designed for high-traffic or moisture-prone areas.
Measure your square footage and consult the product label or the Farrow & Ball coverage guide to determine the volume required for two full coats.
Farrow & Ball is known for its water-based formulations that are generally low in VOCs compared to traditional solvent-based paints.
Yes, using a high-quality primer is essential for ensuring color accuracy and long-term durability of the paint finish.
Ensure the surface is properly primed and applied with a consistent nap roller for an even texture.
Use a crisp white or a lighter neutral like Old White on the ceiling and trim to brighten the overall appearance of the space.
Before application, ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust or grease. For the best color accuracy, a primer suitable for the surface material is recommended. When applying, stir the paint thoroughly to ensure the pigments are properly suspended. Allow sufficient drying time between coats to achieve the desired opacity. For long-term care, clean surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh abrasive cleaners that could damage the matte or flat finish.
