Johnstone's Wall & Ceiling Matt Emulsion is an ideal choice for both professional decorators and DIY enthusiasts looking to achieve a modern, sophisticated aesthetic on interior surfaces. This high-quality paint offers excellent coverage and a smooth, creamy consistency that helps minimize surface imperfections, providing a flawless matte finish for walls and ceilings. While it is highly durable and wipeable for everyday maintenance, users should note that the matte finish may show scuffs more readily than high-gloss alternatives in extremely high-traffic areas.

While it is durable and wipeable, it is primarily designed for general interior walls and ceilings. For rooms with high humidity or steam, consider a specialist moisture-resistant paint.
No, this product is specifically formulated for wall and ceiling surfaces. Use appropriate wood or metal primers and topcoats for those materials.
While it provides excellent coverage, two coats are generally recommended for the best color depth and finish, especially when covering darker colors.
The paint is designed to dry quickly, but drying times can vary based on ambient temperature and humidity. It is best to allow at least 2-4 hours between coats.
Yes, once fully dry, the paint is stable and safe for residential use.
Ensure you are using a quality synthetic brush and avoid over-working the paint once it begins to set.
Check that the surface was properly cleaned and free of dust, grease, or moisture before painting.
Ensure the paint is thoroughly stirred before use and apply a consistent, even coat with a suitable roller.
To achieve the best results, ensure your walls or ceilings are clean, dry, and free from loose or flaking material before application. If applying to new plaster, ensure it is fully cured and consider using a mist coat first. Use high-quality synthetic brushes or medium-pile rollers for application. For maintenance, wait until the paint has fully cured before attempting to clean; use a soft, damp cloth with a mild detergent to gently wipe away marks. Avoid using abrasive sponges, as these may damage the matte finish.
