FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for long-distance running?
Yes, the Novablast 5 is designed with energy-returning foam that provides comfort and support for long-distance efforts.
How should I clean the white fabric?
Use a soft cloth dampened with water and mild detergent. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as heat can damage the midsole foam.
Can I use these for gym workouts?
Absolutely. While optimized for running, the stability features make them effective for general gym activities and fitness classes.
What is the primary material used?
The trainer utilizes high-quality performance synthetic materials and engineered mesh for a balance of breathability and durability.
Are these true to size?
They generally fit true to the UK sizing standard, though those with wider feet may prefer to verify against the specific size guide for this model.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight across the midfoot
Try adjusting the lacing pattern to a 'window lacing' style to relieve pressure on the top of the foot.
Visible dirt accumulation on the white exterior
Gently spot clean with a mixture of mild soap and water using a soft-bristled toothbrush.
Slippage at the heel
Utilize the extra eyelet at the top of the shoe to create a 'runner's loop' for a more secure heel lock.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your ASICS Novablast 5 maintains its performance, follow these guidelines:
- Sizing: These shoes follow the UK adult size standard. Always verify your specific UK size before purchase as fit can vary slightly from other global sizing systems.
- Break-in Period: While comfortable out of the box, wear them for shorter sessions for the first week to allow the materials to contour to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush or damp cloth to wipe down the outer mesh. Avoid submerging in water or using harsh detergents, which can compromise the structural integrity of the cushioning foam.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the midsole foam from degrading or discoloring.
