The Ride Tr3 Gtx is well-suited for light trails and varied terrain, but they are designed primarily as a performance trainer rather than a heavy-duty hiking boot.
The Saucony Ride series generally follows standard UK sizing; it is recommended to measure your feet in the afternoon when they are at their largest.
It is not recommended to machine wash these shoes, as it can damage the specialized GTX membrane and the adhesive components.
The GTX (Gore-Tex) version offers an added layer of waterproof protection and breathability, making the shoe versatile in wet weather conditions.
The Ride series typically features a standard width; if you have particularly wide feet, ensure you have sufficient room in the toe box when trying them on.
Ensure the laces are adjusted to allow for natural foot swelling during activity; check that you have the correct UK size.
Clean the exterior thoroughly to remove mud and consider using a water-repellent spray specifically designed for synthetic breathable footwear.
To get the best performance, ensure you are wearing the correct size, as the structure of the Ride Tr3 Gtx is designed to support the foot firmly. For maintenance, remove surface dirt after use with a soft-bristled brush. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can damage the upper materials and the GTX membrane. Store the trainers in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the cushioning and the outer shell.
