FAQs
Are these shoes waterproof?
Yes, the Gtx designation indicates the inclusion of Gore-Tex, which is a highly water-resistant material designed to keep feet dry.
Are these suitable for running?
Yes, they are designed as trainers suitable for various activities including running and general athletic training.
Can I wash them in a machine?
No, machine washing can degrade the structural integrity and the waterproof membrane of the shoe. Hand cleaning is recommended.
How does the sizing run?
The Saucony Ride Tr3 Gtx fits true to size for standard adult male footwear. We recommend using your usual athletic shoe size.
Are these good for trail hiking?
While they provide good traction and weather resistance, they are categorized as trainers; they work well for light hiking but are optimized for road and light path surfaces.
Do they come in different colors?
The current model described is available in a versatile black colorway.
Troubleshooting
Foot feels too hot during intense activity
The Gore-Tex lining is weather-proof, which reduces air circulation. Ensure you are wearing moisture-wicking synthetic or merino wool socks to improve comfort.
Visible dirt accumulation on the black exterior
Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried mud and a damp cloth to wipe clean; avoid abrasive scrubbers that may damage the outer material.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Saucony Ride Tr3 Gtx trainers maintain their performance, begin by breaking them in with shorter sessions before extended use. Compatibility is standard for adult male sizing; ensure you choose your standard athletic shoe size for the best fit. For care, avoid machine washing or drying. Instead, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. If the interior becomes wet, remove the insoles and air dry them naturally away from direct heat sources to prevent damage to the upper materials.
