FAQs
Is the Gel-Cumulus 27 suitable for overpronation?
No, this model is designed specifically for neutral runners. If you require stability, consider an ASICS model with additional medial support.
Can I wear these for gym workouts?
While excellent for running and light cardio, the high stack height may feel less stable for heavy lifting or lateral movement exercises.
How often should I replace these shoes?
Typically, these trainers are rated for 300-500 miles, depending on your running surface and body weight.
Are they waterproof?
No, the jacquard mesh is designed for breathability, not water resistance.
What is the primary difference from previous models?
The 27 series features refined outsole geometry for a smoother transition and updated cushioning materials for better responsiveness.
Troubleshooting
Foot slipping inside the shoe
Try using the 'runner's loop' lacing technique to better secure the heel collar.
Feeling discomfort after long runs
Verify that your shoe size is accurate; feet naturally swell during exercise, so ensure a thumb-width of space exists in the toe box.
Pros and Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longest lifespan for your Gel-Cumulus 27, it is recommended to allow the foam to decompress for 24 hours between heavy usage sessions. For cleaning, remove the sockliner and brush away loose debris, then wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid machine washing or direct heat drying, as these can degrade the integrity of the adhesive and cushioning materials. Ensure the laces are tightened evenly to utilize the full support of the jacquard upper without creating pressure points across the bridge of your foot.
