The Britton Drive Boots are made of high-quality leather, which provides natural water resistance. However, they are not classified as fully waterproof boots.
Use a soft-bristle brush and mild soap to gently scrub the fabric portions. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat.
Yes, the insoles are removable and can be replaced with custom orthotics or fresh insoles if desired.
These boots generally fit true to size. If you plan to wear very thick winter socks, you may want to consider a half-size up.
The OrthoLite footbeds are designed to provide balanced cushioning and support suitable for most foot shapes during daily walking.
Full-grain leather requires a 'break-in' period. Wear them for short durations indoors to allow the leather to soften and conform to your foot shape.
Over long periods, the cushioning may compress. Consider replacing the inserts with aftermarket orthotics if additional arch support is needed.
Apply a small amount of black leather polish or conditioning cream in a circular motion to buff out minor surface marks.
To ensure your Britton Drive Boots remain in peak condition, perform these simple maintenance steps. Initially, apply a leather protector spray to guard against water and salt stains. For daily care, wipe off any debris with a soft, dry cloth. If the leather becomes scuffed, use a high-quality black shoe cream to restore the color and finish. Because they feature recycled PET laces, avoid harsh chemical cleaners on the laces themselves; instead, hand-wash them with mild soap and water if necessary. Store the boots in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight to prevent the leather from drying out over time.
