While the leather offers some natural resistance, they are not classified as fully waterproof boots; consider using a protective spray for extra resistance.
Yes, the OrthoLite footbeds are designed to be removable if you need to use custom orthotics or replace them over time.
Yes, the classic moc-toe design and black finish provide a sophisticated look that pairs well with chinos or dark denim for a business-casual office environment.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees helps the boots maintain their shape and absorbs moisture.
Not particularly; regular wiping and occasional conditioning are sufficient to keep them looking great.
Leather requires a break-in period; wear them for shorter durations indoors before taking them on long walks.
Use a leather conditioning cream or a matching black shoe polish to buff out minor scuffs and restore the finish.
Remove the inserts after use to allow them to air dry fully, as the OrthoLite material is designed to wick moisture away from the foot.
To ensure your Britton Drive Boots remain in excellent condition, apply a leather protector spray before your first wear to shield against water and stains. If the leather becomes dirty, wipe it down with a damp cloth and use a mild leather cleaner periodically. For deep conditioning, apply a high-quality leather cream every few months to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Because these boots are crafted from genuine leather, avoid prolonged exposure to intense heat sources like radiators, as this can dry out and damage the hide. Ensure you have the correct UK size, as the leather will conform to your foot shape over time, and wearing them with quality moisture-wicking socks will maximize the benefits of the OrthoLite footbed.
