Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Zermatt slippers last for years, observe the following care guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Wear the slippers for short intervals at home for the first week to allow the cork to conform to your foot.
- Cleaning: Do not submerge in water. Use a soft brush to remove dust from the wool upper. For the shearling lining, use a specialized leather and wool cleaner sparingly if necessary.
- Moisture Prevention: Keep the slippers away from direct heat sources like radiators or fireplaces, which can dry out and crack the cork footbed.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent mold growth in the natural wool fibers.
