Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because the Birkenstock Zermatt features a molded footbed, they require a short break-in period where the materials soften and contour to your gait. To maintain the life of your slippers, avoid exposing them to excessive moisture, as the wool and shearling materials can be damaged by water. If they become dusty, gently brush the felted wool with a soft-bristled brush. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Do not put these slippers in a washing machine, as the high heat and agitation will destroy the internal structure and lining.
