The Zermatt is primarily designed as an indoor slipper. While the sole is durable, the wool felt upper is not waterproof or designed for harsh outdoor conditions.
The Zermatt is designed specifically for the Zermatt interchangeable system. While some footbeds may look similar, it is recommended to use only Zermatt-compatible replacement footbeds.
Use a soft brush to remove dirt. Avoid water immersion. If a spill occurs, dab with a slightly damp cloth and allow to air dry away from direct heat sources.
Wool is naturally moisture-wicking and breathable, which helps regulate temperature even with the shearling lining.
This refers to the UK adult sizing standard. Please consult a size conversion chart if you are accustomed to US or EU sizing.
Ensure the footbed is correctly aligned by firmly pressing the heel section into the rear of the slipper cavity.
The cork-latex footbed requires a short break-in period to adapt to your specific foot shape. Wear them for short durations to soften the material.
When you first receive your slippers, ensure the footbed is properly seated within the felt upper. If you purchased additional footbeds, you can swap them by gently pushing the heel area of the footbed down and sliding it forward. For maintenance, keep the wool felt away from excessive moisture. If the felt becomes soiled, brush gently with a soft-bristled brush to remove dust and debris. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as high heat will damage the cork structure and shrink the wool. If the footbed becomes compressed over time, it can be replaced without needing to discard the entire slipper.
