The Clifton 11 is a neutral shoe. While comfortable for many, those with severe overpronation may benefit from a stability-specific model.
Yes, the Clifton 11 is specifically designed to provide the support and cushioning necessary for high-mileage training.
Typically, running shoes should be replaced every 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running surface and gait.
No, the Clifton 11 uses a breathable mesh upper designed for airflow, not water resistance.
They provide tactile feedback to help you identify the best grip areas when adjusting the laces for a secure fit.
It is recommended to hand wash your trainers. Machine washing can damage the materials and the adhesive layers in the sole.
Ensure you are utilizing the double-lace lock system correctly by threading the laces through the dedicated tongue loop.
Try a different lacing technique, such as the window lacing method, to relieve pressure on the top of the foot.
Allow the foam to reach room temperature before use, as cold conditions can temporarily stiffen the cushioning material.
To ensure the longevity of your Hoka Clifton 11 trainers, begin by loosening the laces fully to adjust the fit according to your foot's volume before your first run. The shoes are compatible with most standard neutral running gait patterns. For care, keep the shoes away from extreme heat sources, such as radiators, as this can degrade the foam integrity. If they become dirty, clean the mesh upper by hand using a soft brush, mild soap, and cold water. Always air dry your shoes at room temperature to maintain the structural integrity of the upper and the cushioning properties of the midsole.
