Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Hoka Clifton 11 trainers, perform the following maintenance:
- Breaking In: Wear them for short walks before starting high-mileage runs to allow the foam to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried mud and dust. Wipe the upper mesh with a damp cloth; avoid machine washing or drying as heat can degrade the adhesive and foam integrity.
- Storage: Keep your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as UV exposure can break down the rubber outsole and synthetic materials.
- Rotation: If possible, rotate with a different pair of shoes to allow the compression-molded foam 24-48 hours to decompress, which prolongs the life of the cushioning.
