Full details
The Saucony Ride 19 is a versatile neutral road trainer designed for adult runners seeking a balance of comfort and responsiveness for daily training. Featuring high-performance PWRRUN+ cushioning and a reengineered breathable upper, these shoes provide a smooth, consistent ride for everything from easy recovery miles to faster-paced training sessions; however, runners seeking aggressive stability features for overpronation may find the neutral platform less supportive than dedicated stability models.

Troubleshooting
Feeling pressure on the top of the foot
Try skipping the eyelet where the pressure occurs or utilize a window-lacing technique to relieve tension.
Heel slipping while running
Use the extra top eyelet to create a runner's loop (heel lock) to secure the ankle in place.
Upper material showing stains
Use a soft brush and mild soap with lukewarm water to gently spot-clean the white fabric; avoid abrasive cleaning agents.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Lightweight and breathable design for improved comfort
- Responsive cushioning suitable for a wide range of running speeds
- Smooth heel-to-toe transitions for a natural gait
- Consistent performance across various daily training distances
Cons
- Neutral support profile may not suit severe overpronators
- Specific stack height might feel too high for those preferring minimal ground feel
- Light colorway is prone to showing dirt and road grime
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Saucony Ride 19, start by ensuring a secure fit through the lacing system, allowing for natural foot expansion during runs. Because these are neutral road trainers, they perform best on pavement, asphalt, and light gravel paths. For care, avoid machine washing or drying the shoes, as high heat can compromise the foam integrity. Instead, remove the insoles after wet runs and let them air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Regularly brushing off surface dust will help maintain the breathability of the upper mesh.
