The adidas Adizero EVO SL Trainers are engineered for adult male runners who prioritize speed and energy efficiency during their training sessions or parkruns. Drawing inspiration from the record-breaking Adizero EVO 3, these trainers offer an exceptionally lightweight experience that translates into responsive performance; however, users should note that the focus on speed may mean they provide a firmer ride compared to high-cushion recovery shoes.

While inspired by marathon-record-breaking technology, these are optimized for speed and training. Whether they suit your marathon needs depends on your preference for firm vs. maximal cushioning.

Lightstrike Pro is a high-grade foam technology from adidas that offers a lightweight, responsive feel with significant energy return.
The Adizero series generally follows standard sizing, but because these are performance trainers, they are designed to fit snugly.
Yes, their stylish design and comfort make them suitable for casual wear, though they are technically engineered for running.
Yes, use a 40-degree cycle and ensure you remove the insoles and laces if possible for a more thorough clean.
Loosen the laces across the midfoot section and try a different lacing pattern to relieve tension.
Remove excess debris manually, then proceed with a machine wash at 40 degrees on a delicate cycle.
Ensure the lace closure is tightened evenly and use the top eyelet to create a runner's loop for better heel lock.
To ensure the best experience, verify your UK adult size before purchase, as these performance shoes are designed for a precision fit. When lacing, aim for a secure but not overly tight tension across the bridge of the foot to allow for natural swelling during runs. For care, avoid using harsh bleach or high-heat tumble dryers. Simply place the shoes in the washing machine on a gentle cycle at 40 degrees and allow them to air dry away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the foam and the structure of the upper materials.
