The New Balance 740 Trainers are designed for fashion-conscious adults who appreciate a nostalgic, early 2000s aesthetic combined with modern reliability. This classic silhouette offers a perfect blend of style and everyday comfort through its breathable construction, though the wool material composition may require specific cleaning attention compared to standard synthetic trainers.

No, it is recommended to avoid machine washing to preserve the integrity of the wool and mesh construction.
The New Balance 740 generally follows standard sizing, though we recommend checking your specific UK size for the best fit.
The trainers are not waterproof; the breathable mesh upper is designed for airflow rather than moisture protection.
While durable, these are primarily designed as lifestyle trainers rather than performance athletic shoes.
Gently wipe the angular overlays with a damp cloth and a very mild soap solution if necessary.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dry dirt before wiping with a damp cloth.
Ensure the laces are fully loosened before stepping into the shoe; the mesh upper will offer a slight natural stretch over time.
These trainers come ready to wear out of the box. To ensure a long lifespan, it is important to handle the wool-based material with care. Avoid machine washing, which can damage the delicate fibres. Instead, spot clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. When not in use, store the shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the beige colour from fading. If they become wet, allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, keeping them away from heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers.
