The New Balance 740 Trainers are designed for adult women who appreciate a blend of retro early 2000s aesthetics and modern comfort. These trainers provide excellent breathability and a distinct, angular look that pairs well with casual daily outfits, though users should be aware that the wool-blend material requires specific care to maintain its appearance over time.

The 740 series is primarily designed as a lifestyle trainer for casual use rather than high-performance running.
Avoid submerging the shoes in water. Use a specialized wool cleaner or a damp cloth with mild soap, dabbing gently rather than scrubbing.
The New Balance 740 generally follows standard UK sizing conventions for adult women.
Yes, the insoles are removable, allowing you to insert custom orthotics if required.
No, the breathable mesh and wool components are not waterproof; it is best to avoid wearing them in heavy rain.
Use a soft, dry brush to gently sweep away debris from the mesh pores before attempting any liquid cleaning.
Wear the trainers for short periods indoors to allow the materials to break in and conform to your foot shape naturally.
These trainers are designed for a standard fit consistent with the New Balance size 7 UK sizing. Because the upper features wool-blend components, it is recommended to avoid machine washing, which can damage the fibres. Instead, clean the exterior using a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dust. For spot cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild detergent, ensuring you do not soak the material. Store the shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the colour and integrity of the wool-blend fabric.
