This is a premium quality, low maintenance, alkyd resin based wood finish for exterior use. It provides a satin, opaque, microporous finish which is water repellent and resists UV attack. Ensure all timber to be treated is sound, clean, dry (moisture content not more than 20%) and free from loose and flaking material. Pre-treat bare timber with a suitable clear timber preservative. Treat any mould or lichen with Sterilisation Wash as directed. Avoid inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960 paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
