Product Information

Full details

This woodstain has been specially formulated for smooth timber joinery such as doors, windows, fascia boards, cladding, and garden furniture to provide a microporous satin finish that highlights the natural grain of the wood. It is particularly beneficial for exterior joinery (hardwood or softwood) but can also be used on interior wood. Available in a range of ready-mixed colours including clear, light oak, antique pine, redwood, walnut, mahogany, medium oak, jacobean oak, teak, ebony, pine, and rosewood. Ensure all surfaces to be stained are sound, clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, polish, or any other surface contaminant. Remove resins and natural oils using White Spirit. Sound, existing varnish should be rubbed down with fine waterproof abrasive paper, rinsed thoroughly, and allowed to dry. Previously untreated softwood should be treated with a suitable clear preserver. Avoid inhalation of dust and wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during application. This product offers superior durability, protecting wood surfaces from UV radiation, water damage, and other environmental factors, ensuring longevity and saving on repairs. It enhances the natural beauty of wood with an elegant satin finish, accentuating texture and grain for a stunning, natural look. Applicable to both new and previously treated wood, it is easy to apply, dries quickly for a smooth, even finish, and offers easy clean-up, making it ideal for both professional and DIY use.
