No, they are crafted from suede, which is porous. While a protector spray helps, they are not intended for heavy rain or deep snow.
Yes, the Gabor Hodie comes with removable insoles specifically to allow for custom orthotic compatibility.
The block heel is 4 cm high, providing a comfortable lift for everyday use.
The Gabor Hodie features a convenient side zip for easy access.
This model is designed with a standard D-width fitting.
Store them in a cool, dry place, ideally using boot shapers to maintain their structure and prevent creasing.
Use a specialized suede brush to gently lift the nap and remove surface dirt.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth and consider using a small amount of silicone-based zip lubricant.
Ensure the insoles are pushed flat into the heel cup to seat them correctly against the base.
Upon receiving your Gabor Hodie boots, ensure the fit is correct while wearing the type of socks you intend to use most frequently. Since the insoles are removable, you can easily swap them for custom orthotic inserts if necessary to improve arch support. To maintain the condition of your suede boots, it is highly recommended to apply a professional-grade suede protector spray before the first wear to guard against dust and light moisture. For cleaning, use a dedicated suede brush to remove surface debris gently. Avoid submerging the boots in water or using harsh household cleaners, as these can permanently stain or damage the suede texture. Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the material from fading.
