Farrow & Ball Cinder Rose is ideal for homeowners and interior designers seeking a sophisticated, romantic aesthetic for bedrooms and garden rooms. Its unique formulation provides a deeply matte finish with a distinct, blue-toned pink hue that avoids the common yellow undertones found in traditional pink paints, though users should note that the ultra-matte finish requires careful application to maintain uniform coverage in high-traffic areas.

Yes, the Dead Flat formula is suitable for interior woodwork and furniture, providing a beautiful, matte, high-fashion look.
No, Cinder Rose is specifically designed to minimize yellow pigments, resulting in a cooler, bluer, and more romantic pink.
For best opacity and color depth, we recommend applying two full coats over a properly primed surface.
A 750 ml container is generally intended for smaller projects, furniture, or woodwork accents rather than full-sized walls.
It provides a 'Dead Flat' finish, which is an extremely matte, non-reflective appearance.
Skimming Stone is highly recommended for garden rooms, and Great White is ideal for woodwork to enhance the pink's softness.
Ensure you are using high-quality synthetic brushes or microfiber rollers and avoid overworking the paint as it begins to tack.
This is often caused by lack of primer. Ensure the surface is uniformly primed before applying the final topcoats.
Proper preparation is essential for the Farrow & Ball Dead Flat range. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose paint or dust before application. For new or bare surfaces, apply an appropriate Farrow & Ball primer to ensure the paint adheres correctly and the color appears true. When applying, maintain a "wet edge" to avoid overlapping marks that can disrupt the ultra-matte finish. For long-term care, avoid using abrasive cleaning pads or strong chemicals, as the matte surface is delicate; a gentle wipe with a soft, damp cloth is usually sufficient for cleaning.
