FAQs
Are these trainers waterproof?
No, while they are made of leather, they are not waterproof and should be kept away from heavy rain or submerging in water.
Can I use these for running?
These are lifestyle trainers designed for everyday wear. They are not intended for long-distance running or high-intensity athletic activities.
How should I clean the soles?
Use a soft brush and a mild soap-and-water solution to clear debris from the retro grooves on the rubber outsole.
Do they fit true to size?
The Nike V5 Rnr follows a standard fit; it is recommended to order your usual shoe size.
Can I replace the insoles?
The insoles are designed for the shoe, but if necessary, they can be removed to accommodate custom orthotics.
Troubleshooting
Creasing on the leather upper
Natural creasing is common with leather footwear; using shoe trees when not in use helps minimize deep wrinkles.
Slippage at the heel
Adjust the lace tightness or consider using a different lacing technique, such as the runner's loop, to secure the ankle.

Cons
- Leather material is not suitable for heavy rain

- Requires regular cleaning to maintain the grey finish
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Nike V5 Rnr trainers maintain their look and function, follow these guidelines:
- Fit: The shoes feature a standard fit with a secure lace-up system. Ensure laces are tied firmly but not constricting to allow for proper blood circulation.
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather upper with a soft, damp cloth. Do not submerge the shoes in water. For stubborn marks, use a mild leather cleaner specifically designed for footwear.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent leather cracking or fading. Use cedar shoe trees if possible to maintain the shape of the toe box.
- Weather: Avoid wearing these in muddy or extremely wet conditions to protect the leather material.
