Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
Unroll the rug carefully upon arrival. Allow it to lay flat in its intended location for at least 24-48 hours to allow creases from packaging to relax. You may place heavy objects (like books) on the corners to help flatten it more quickly.
Compatibility:
This rug is suitable for most indoor flooring types. For hard floors (wood, tile, laminate), consider using a rug pad underneath to prevent slipping and protect the floor. It is generally compatible with underfloor heating, but always check with your heating system manufacturer for specific recommendations regarding rug use.
Care:
- Regular Vacuuming: Vacuum your rug regularly (once or twice a week) using a vacuum cleaner with suction only (no beater bar or brush roll engaged) to remove surface dirt and debris.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap and water solution, testing on an inconspicuous area first. Blot from the outside of the stain inward.
- Professional Cleaning: For deep cleaning or stubborn stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended every 1-2 years.
- Rotation: Rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear, especially in high-traffic areas.
