Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Putting on your Skechers Razor Elite boots is straightforward. Simply loosen the laces fully, slide your foot in, and then tighten the laces from the bottom up, ensuring a snug yet comfortable fit without excessive pressure points. Double-knotting the laces can help prevent them from coming undone during play. Wear them for a few light training sessions before a match to break them in and allow the `FitKnit™` upper to mold to your foot.
Compatibility
These boots feature a `Firm Ground (FG)` outsole, making them specifically compatible with natural grass pitches that are dry to slightly damp. They are not recommended for use on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces, as this can damage the studs and compromise performance and safety. Always match your boot type to the playing surface.
Care
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Skechers Razor Elite Football Boots, follow these care guidelines:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off any mud or dirt with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush can be used. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place. Using shoe trees or crumpled newspaper inside can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Odour Control: If odours develop, use shoe deodorizers or sprinkle baking soda inside the boots and leave overnight.
- Product Label: Always refer to the product label inside the boot or on the original packaging for any specific care instructions from Skechers.
