The North Face Quest DryVent Jacket is an essential outer layer for adult men who need reliable protection during unpredictable outdoor weather. Engineered with proprietary DryVent breathable-waterproof technology, this jacket creates an impenetrable barrier against rain while allowing excess moisture to escape, ensuring you remain dry and comfortable. While it excels in wet conditions, it is important to note that this is a shell layer and does not provide thermal insulation, so proper layering is required for colder temperatures.

Ensure you are using appropriate moisture-wicking base layers; cotton absorbs sweat and keeps you wet, which can overwhelm the jacket's breathability.
To ensure your jacket remains waterproof over time, it is important to follow proper care instructions. Wash the garment in cold water with a technical detergent designed for waterproof gear, avoiding heavy fabric softeners that can clog the pores of the breathable membrane. If you notice water no longer 'beads up' on the surface, you can restore the water-repellent finish by applying a DWR spray and tumble drying on low heat if the garment label allows. When sizing, remember the regular fit is designed to accommodate a mid-layer, such as a fleece or a light down sweater, for those requiring extra warmth.
