Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Donning the Boots: Gently pull the Dynamic Fit collar upwards and slide your foot into the boot. Ensure your heel is properly seated against the back of the boot.
- Lacing: Securely tie the laces to achieve a snug, comfortable fit. Do not overtighten, as this can restrict blood flow and cause discomfort.
- Break-In: Like all performance footwear, these boots may require a short break-in period. Wear them for short training sessions initially to allow the material to adapt to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These Nike Mercurial Superfly boots are MultiGround (FG/MG), making them suitable for use on:
- Firm Natural Grass Pitches: Standard outdoor grass fields.
- Artificial Grass (AG) Surfaces: Modern synthetic turf fields.
They are not recommended for use on extremely soft, muddy pitches (which require Soft Ground/SG studs) or very hard, compact surfaces (which might benefit from specialized Artificial Grass/AG or Turf/TF outsoles for durability).
Care
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, wipe off excess dirt and mud with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources (like radiators or in direct sunlight) as this can damage the materials.
- Odour Control: Consider using boot deodorizers or stuffing them with newspaper to absorb moisture and prevent odours.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
> Info needed: Specific cleaning agents or waterproofing treatments, if any, recommended by Nike for the NIKESKIN material.
