Full details

The On Cloudtilt trainers in Blonde/Dew are designed for women seeking all-day comfort and effortless style for urban adventures. They offer a supportive and cushioned ride thanks to the CloudTec Phase midsole and Helion superfoam, making them ideal for daily commutes, coffee runs, and casual city exploration. While providing exceptional comfort, the streamlined silhouette might offer less structured support for intense athletic activities compared to specialized performance shoes.

FAQs

Are these trainers suitable for running?

The Cloudtilt trainers are primarily designed for all-day comfort and casual wear. While they offer cushioning, they are not specifically engineered for high-impact running and may lack the specialized support and stability required for intense running sessions.

What is the main benefit of the CloudTec Phase midsole?

The CloudTec Phase midsole is engineered to provide a seamless and smooth weight transfer with every step, contributing to a comfortable and consistent feel throughout your day.

How do I adjust the speed laces?

Simply pull the toggles to tighten the laces for a secure fit. To loosen, press the release button on the toggle or pull the laces away from the toggle.

Can these trainers be worn in wet conditions?

The trainers offer some water resistance due to their materials, but they are not waterproof. They are best suited for dry to mildly damp conditions. Prolonged exposure to heavy rain may lead to wetness.

What is the material of the upper?

The upper is primarily made of polyester, designed to be breathable and form-fitting for comfort.

How do these trainers differ from other On Running models?

The Cloudtilt series focuses on providing supreme comfort and a streamlined aesthetic for everyday urban life, distinguishing itself with features like the CloudTec Phase midsole and a more casual, slip-on-friendly design compared to more performance-oriented models.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty inserting foot into the sock-fit upper.

Loosen the speed laces completely and gently pull the tongue and collar apart to create a wider opening before sliding your foot in.

Inconsistent cushioning feel.

Ensure the laces are evenly tightened. Check the midsole for any debris or damage that might be affecting the cushioning.

Squeaking sound during walking.

This can sometimes occur with new shoes. Try walking on different surfaces, or ensure the insole is properly seated. If the noise persists, it might be a minor manufacturing anomaly.

Speed laces not staying tight.

Ensure the locking mechanism of the speed laces is fully engaged. If the laces repeatedly loosen, check for wear on the lace material or the locking mechanism.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Exceptional all-day comfort for urban wear.
  • Responsive cushioning enhances walking experience.
  • Easy to put on and take off with speed laces.
  • Stylish and versatile design for casual outfits.
  • Lightweight construction reduces foot fatigue.

Cons

  • May lack the advanced support needed for high-impact sports.
  • The sock-fit upper might not suit those preferring a more traditional, structured fit.
  • Sole pattern, while grippy, is designed for urban terrain, not technical trails.
  • Blonde/Dew color might require more frequent cleaning to maintain appearance.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup:

These trainers are ready to wear out of the box. Simply adjust the speed laces to your preferred tightness for a secure fit.

Compatibility:

Ideal for casual wear, walking, and light gym activities. They are designed for adult female wearers.

Care:

  • Cleaning the Upper: Wipe the polyester upper with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners that could damage the material. For stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution and rinse with a clean, damp cloth.
  • Cleaning the Midsole and Outsole: Use a soft brush or damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Ensure no mud or grit is left in the tread pattern.
  • Drying: Allow the trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in a tumble dryer, as this can distort their shape and damage the materials.
  • Laces: If laces become soiled, they can be removed and hand-washed with mild soap and water, then air-dried.
