Full details

The On Cloudtilt trainers in Yellow are designed for adult women seeking all-day comfort and effortless style for city explorations. Their key benefit lies in the precision-engineered support for natural movement, making them ideal for commutes, coffee runs, and cross-town strolls. A potential caveat is that while versatile, they are primarily casual shoes and not specialized athletic footwear. Key features include a sculpted midsole, streamlined silhouette, CloudTec Phase midsole for smooth weight transfer, plush cushioning with Helion superfoam, a sock-fit upper for easy on-and-off, and speed laces for quick adjustments.

FAQs

What is the main benefit of the CloudTec Phase midsole?

The CloudTec Phase midsole is engineered to provide a smooth, seamless transfer of weight with every step, enhancing the natural movement of your foot and delivering a comfortable ride.

Are these trainers suitable for running or intense workouts?

The Cloudtilt trainers are primarily designed for all-day comfort and casual wear, such as city explorations and walking. They are not intended for high-impact sports or dedicated running sessions.

How do I adjust the speed lacing system?

To tighten, pull the toggle upwards. To loosen, press the small button on the side of the toggle and pull the laces. This allows for quick and easy adjustments to the fit.

What material is the upper made from?

The upper is typically made from a sock-fit material, designed for a comfortable, snug feel and easy slip-on access. Specific material composition may vary slightly.

Can I wash these trainers in a washing machine?

It is not recommended to machine wash these trainers. Hand cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap is the preferred method to protect the materials and construction.

How do I ensure I get the right size?

Refer to the On Running size guide, which provides measurements and conversions. Trying them on in-store if possible is also recommended for the best fit, especially considering the sock-fit upper.

What is the primary advantage of the Helion superfoam?

Helion superfoam offers a combination of responsive cushioning and dynamic rebound, providing comfort and a lively feel for sustained wear throughout the day.

Troubleshooting

Shoes feel too tight or loose after initial wear.

Adjust the speed lacing system. Loosen it by pulling the toggle and re-tighten for a customized fit. The sock-fit upper will also mold to your foot over time.

Squeaking noise during walking.

This can sometimes occur due to moisture or friction between components. Ensure the insoles are properly seated and dry the shoes thoroughly. If the noise persists, it may be a minor manufacturing anomaly.

Dirt or scuff marks on the upper or midsole.

Refer to the 'Care Instructions' section. Use a damp cloth and mild cleaning agents suitable for the shoe's materials. Prompt cleaning of spills or marks is recommended.

Reduced cushioning feel over time.

While Helion superfoam is durable, prolonged heavy use can naturally reduce its responsiveness. Ensure the shoes are not used for activities beyond their intended casual purpose to preserve cushioning.

Pros and Cons

  • Exceptional all-day comfort for urban environments.
  • Stylish and versatile design suitable for casual wear.
  • Lightweight construction for ease of movement.
  • Quick and convenient speed lacing system.

Cons

  • Primarily designed for casual wear, not intense athletic performance.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The On Cloudtilt trainers require no specific setup. Simply unpack them and adjust the speed laces to your preferred snugness. The sock-fit upper is designed for immediate comfort.

Compatibility: These trainers are designed for general casual wear and walking. They are compatible with a wide array of casual clothing.

Care Instructions: To maintain the appearance and longevity of your Cloudtilt trainers:

  1. Cleaning the Upper: Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe away dirt and marks from the polyester or leather upper. For stubborn stains, a mild soap solution can be used sparingly.
  2. Cleaning the Midsole and Outsole: Wipe down the midsole and outsole with a damp cloth. Ensure the textured outsole is cleared of debris.
  3. Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage the materials.
  4. Laces: The speed laces can typically be wiped clean. If they become heavily soiled, they may be removable for washing (refer to specific product tags if available).
  5. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Consider using shoe trees to help maintain their shape.
