Product Information

Full details

The Timberland Stone Heights Mid Boot is designed for adult women who want a fusion of rugged durability and elevated style. Featuring a distinctive box heel and premium leather construction, these boots provide excellent comfort and support for all-day wear. While they are built to handle everyday environments with a grippy rubber outsole, users should note that the heel design changes the typical walking profile compared to standard flat-soled utility boots.

FAQs

Are these boots waterproof?

While the leather is durable and protective, these boots are not explicitly marketed as waterproof. We recommend applying a leather water-repellent treatment for added protection.

How do I clean the rubber outsole?

Use a stiff brush and warm soapy water to scrub mud and debris from the treads, then rinse and allow to air dry.

Can I replace the insole?

Yes, the OrthoLite footbed can be removed and replaced with custom orthotics if you have specific arch or fit requirements.

Do these fit true to size?

These boots are designed for a standard fit. If you plan to wear thick winter socks, you may consider a half-size up.

What is the benefit of the steel shank?

The steel shank provides structural integrity to the sole, preventing the boot from twisting and offering superior arch support throughout the day.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel slightly stiff during first wear

Leather requires a short 'break-in' period. Wear them for short intervals indoors to allow the material to soften and the memory foam to contour.

Surface scuffs on the leather

Use a specialized leather cleaner and conditioner to buff out light scuffs and restore the moisture balance of the material.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Superior arch support from the built-in steel shank
Memory foam cushioning adapts to individual foot shape
Durable construction ensures a long product lifespan
Stable box heel provides height without sacrificing balance

Cons

Not intended for extreme mountain hiking
Heel elevation requires a brief adjustment period for those used to flat boots
Requires regular leather maintenance to preserve appearance

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your boots, begin by applying a leather protector spray before your first wear to guard against moisture and dirt. When putting them on, use a shoe horn to protect the heel counter from crushing.

For ongoing care, wipe the leather surfaces with a soft, damp cloth after use to remove dust. If the leather becomes wet, allow the boots to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the material to crack. The OrthoLite footbed can be removed if needed for airing out, but ensure it is correctly repositioned before your next wear.
