Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting Started
- Lacing: Ensure laces are threaded evenly through all eyelets. For a secure fit, tighten the laces from the bottom upwards, ensuring the foot is snug but not constricted.
- Fit Check: Have your child wear socks they would typically wear with the trainers. Check for about a thumb's width space between the longest toe and the end of the shoe. The heel should feel secure, and the foot should not slide excessively.
Compatibility
These trainers are highly versatile and compatible with a wide range of casual attire, including jeans, shorts, skirts, and dresses. Their classic black high-top design makes them a staple for any child's wardrobe, easily pairing with both vibrant and neutral colors.
Care Instructions
- General Cleaning: For light dirt, wipe the fabric upper and rubber outsole with a damp cloth using mild soap.
- Deep Cleaning (Fabric): For stubborn stains on the fabric, a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) can be used with a mixture of mild detergent and water. Gently scrub the affected area.
- Drying: Always allow trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources or sunlight, which can damage materials. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Sole Care: The rubber outsole can be cleaned with a damp cloth to remove mud and grime, maintaining traction.
- Odor Control: Remove insoles (if removable) occasionally to air out. You can also use shoe deodorizers to keep them fresh.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach or strong cleaning agents, as these can discolor or damage the fabric and rubber.
