FAQs

Are these shorts suitable for casual wear?

While they can be worn casually, they are specifically optimized for athletic performance and feature a lightweight, sport-focused fit.

Does the Dri-FIT technology wear off?

If properly cared for by avoiding harsh detergents and fabric softeners, the moisture-wicking performance will remain effective for a long period.

How do I choose the right size?

These shorts are designed with a standard athletic fit. If you prefer a looser feel, you may consider sizing up, though the adjustable drawcord allows for a flexible range within your standard size.

Can I use these for swimming?

These are training shorts intended for dry-land sports; using them in chlorinated pool water may damage the fabric and the integrity of the logos.

Are the team logos embroidered or printed?

The club crest and Swoosh are high-quality applications designed for durability; follow care instructions to keep them from peeling.

Troubleshooting

Drawcord slipping or retracting into the waistband

Gently guide the cord back through the eyelet and tie a small knot at the ends to prevent it from pulling through during use.

Fabric snagging on rough surfaces

Avoid contact with abrasive gym equipment or rough artificial turf surfaces, as the performance-grade polyester can be prone to snags.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Nike FC Barcelona Strike Shorts, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Machine wash in cold water with like colors. Avoid using fabric softeners as they can degrade the Dri-FIT moisture-wicking properties.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible to maintain the integrity of the fabric and the heat-pressed club crest.
Ironing: Avoid ironing directly over the crest or branding logos.
Compatibility: These shorts pair well with other Nike training gear, such as compression baselayers or standard training jerseys, to create a complete performance system.
