FAQs

Are these shorts suitable for swimming?

While made of polyester, these are designed as football training apparel and lack the specific chlorine resistance needed for prolonged pool use.

Do these shorts have pockets?

No, this specific Strike model prioritizes a lightweight, streamlined design and does not feature pockets.

How should I choose the right size?

These shorts follow standard Nike athletic sizing. If you prefer a looser fit, some users choose to size up, though the drawcord allows for adjustments.

Can I tumble dry these?

It is recommended to tumble dry on low heat, but air drying is best to preserve the technical integrity of the fabric.

Are these authentic team shorts?

Yes, these are official Nike apparel featuring authorized FC Barcelona branding.

Troubleshooting

Drawcord is stuck or pulled inside the waistband

Use a small safety pin to feed the cord back through the opening or gently massage the channel to push the cord toward the exit.

Fabric feels less breathable over time

Wash the shorts without fabric softener and ensure no residue from heavy detergents remains in the fibers.

Pros and Cons

Excellent moisture-wicking capabilities
Lightweight and breathable material
Full range of motion for athletic performance

Authentic team branding

Cons

Slim athletic fit may not suit everyone

Specific care instructions required to maintain tech fabrics

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Nike FC Barcelona Strike Shorts, follow these care guidelines: machine wash in cold water with similar colors. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as these can degrade the moisture-wicking properties of the synthetic fabric. It is recommended to air dry the shorts or tumble dry on a low heat setting. Given their design, these shorts pair perfectly with other training gear such as compression base layers or football jerseys, and the neutral black colorway ensures compatibility with any club kit.
