The ASICS GEL-1130 trainers are designed for everyday wear and light athletic activities. For marathon running, it is recommended to use specialized running shoes that offer advanced cushioning and support tailored for long-distance performance.
It is recommended to measure your foot length and compare it with the ASICS sizing chart. Trying them on, ideally at the end of the day when feet are slightly larger, can also help confirm a comfortable fit. Ensure there is a small amount of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe.
No, machine washing is not recommended for the ASICS GEL-1130 trainers. This can damage the materials, cushioning, and structural integrity. Hand cleaning with a soft brush and mild soap is the preferred method.
The TRUSSTIC™ Support System is a component located in the midfoot of the shoe that provides stability. It helps to control pronation and prevent excessive twisting of the foot, enhancing overall support during movement.
ASICS' GEL™ Technology is a silicone-based cushioning system located in the heel and sometimes forefoot. It is designed to absorb shock effectively during impact, reducing stress on the joints and providing a softer landing.
The GEL-1130 features a breathable mesh upper combined with leather overlays for structure and durability. The outsole is made of rubber for traction and wear resistance.
Ensure you have selected the correct size. If slightly tight, wearing them for short periods can help them stretch. Consider using thicker socks for a snugger fit, or thinner socks for a looser feel.
The GEL™ cushioning is designed for long-term use, but performance may decrease with extensive wear. Regular cleaning and avoiding excessive heat can help maintain material integrity.
Check the rubber outsole for debris or wear. Clean the outsole with a damp cloth. Ensure the laces are tied securely.
Setup: These trainers require no setup. They are ready to wear out of the box.
Compatibility: The ASICS GEL-1130 is designed for general adult foot sizing. Ensure you consult the ASICS sizing chart for the most accurate fit, as shoe sizes can vary between brands and models.
