Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Prepare Your Walls: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, smooth, and free from dust or loose paint. Fill any holes or cracks and prime porous surfaces for optimal adhesion.
- Measure and Cut: Measure your wall height and add a few extra inches to the top and bottom for trimming. Cut your first strip of wallpaper.
- Apply Paste: For non-woven wallpaper, apply a high-quality non-woven wallpaper paste directly to the wall section where you will hang the first strip. Ensure even coverage.
- Hang the First Strip: Align the first strip along a plumb line (a vertical guide) from top to bottom, pressing it gently onto the pasted wall. Use a wallpaper smoothing tool or brush to remove air bubbles, working from the center outwards.
- Match and Repeat: For subsequent strips, apply paste to the next section of the wall. Carefully align the `seamless repeat` pattern with the previous strip before pressing it onto the wall. Trim excess at the top and bottom with a sharp utility knife.
- Clean Up: Immediately wipe away any excess paste from the wallpaper surface or seams with a damp sponge.
Compatibility
This non-woven wallpaper is suitable for most interior dry walls, including plasterboard, concrete, and painted surfaces, provided they are properly prepared. Its `low indoor air emissions` make it compatible with various indoor environments, including children's rooms or offices, without contributing significantly to air pollution.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: The `abrasion-resistant` surface allows for gentle cleaning. For everyday dust, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. For minor marks, use a slightly damp sponge with mild soap, dabbing gently rather than scrubbing. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners.
- Durability: Its `highly lightfast` property means it will resist color fading from sunlight, ensuring its green hue remains vibrant over time.
- Storage: If you have leftover rolls, store them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
