FAQs

Are these boots waterproof?

While the leather is high quality, they are not explicitly marketed as fully waterproof. It is recommended to use a protective leather spray for added water resistance.

What is the ReBOTL fabric made of?

ReBOTL materials are produced from non-biodegradable PET plastic bottles that are collected, shredded, and turned into recycled plastic fibers.

How do I determine my size?

These boots follow standard UK sizing for adults. Refer to the size label on your specific pair or compare with your existing Timberland footwear for the most consistent fit.

Can I replace the footbed?

The OrthoLite Impressions footbed is designed for long-term comfort, but if you require custom orthotics, the factory footbed can typically be removed.

How should I clean the rubber outsole?

Use a soft brush and warm soapy water to scrub the rubber sole. Allow it to air dry naturally, avoiding direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty zipping up the boot

Ensure the fabric lining is not caught in the zipper teeth and try pulling the zipper up slowly while the boot is not on your foot to clear any obstructions.

Foot discomfort or pressure points

The OrthoLite foam may need a few days of wear to fully contour to your feet. If pain persists, ensure your socks are not bunched inside the boot.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Sophisticated tall design suitable for various occasions
Easy entry thanks to the integrated side zipper
High-comfort memory foam footbed
Contains eco-friendly recycled materials

Cons

Tall height may feel restrictive for some users initially
Requires proper care to maintain the leather finish
Limited to specific sizing options within the Stone Heights series

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Stone Heights boots stay in top condition, follow these guidelines:

Break-in: Wear your boots for shorter periods during the first week to allow the leather to naturally conform to your foot shape.
Cleaning: Wipe the leather surface regularly with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt and salt.
Conditioning: Use a leather conditioner every few months to prevent cracking and keep the material supple.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources. Using boot shapers will help maintain the tall shaft structure when not in use.
Compatibility: These boots generally fit true to size. If you plan on wearing thick winter socks, consider if the current fit allows for the additional volume.
