The Timberland Motion Access Trainers are designed for active women who require a blend of rugged outdoor utility and athletic comfort. These trainers provide excellent weather protection and underfoot cushioning, making them an ideal choice for light hiking and daily commuting. While they feature a durable leather construction for style and longevity, users should be aware that the heavy-duty waterproof membrane may feel slightly warmer than standard non-waterproof athletic sneakers during intensive summer use.

No, machine washing can damage the leather upper and compromise the TimberDry waterproof membrane. Clean by hand.
These trainers are best for light hiking, trail walking, and daily wear; they do not offer the ankle support required for technical mountaineering.
It is recommended to use a leather protector spray to maintain the finish and keep the material supple.
Keep them in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat, which can damage the leather and the outsole materials.
Yes, you can use any standard-length athletic shoelace if the originals wear out.
The exterior may have lost its outer water-repellent coating. Clean the shoes and apply a suitable leather-safe waterproofing spray.
Switch to thinner synthetic or wool blend socks, which breathe better than thick cotton socks.
The TimberCush system is durable, but you can replace the factory insoles with third-party orthotics if you require different arch support.
For optimal performance, ensure you pair these trainers with moisture-wicking socks to maximize the benefits of the TimberDry membrane. When cleaning, avoid machine washing; instead, use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dirt and a damp cloth for deeper cleaning. Because these are made of leather, it is recommended to apply a leather conditioner periodically to maintain the material's integrity and water-repellent properties. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources to prevent the leather from cracking.
