Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your shoes last, follow these care steps:
- Breaking In: Wear your new shoes on short walks around the house or neighborhood for a few days to allow the leather to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: After muddy hikes, remove loose dirt with a soft brush. Use a damp cloth with mild soap for the leather upper. Do not machine wash.
- Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can damage the waterproof membrane and the leather.
- Waterproofing Maintenance: While the boots feature a built-in membrane, applying a leather conditioner specifically designed for waterproof footwear can help maintain the suppleness of the outer shell.
