Product Information

Full details

The Thinking Anglers Camfleck Compact Barrow Bag is designed for carp anglers who prioritize efficiency and organization during extended sessions. Its standout feature is the versatile, modular main compartment and the low-profile design that fits perfectly beneath a bedchair. While it offers excellent internal storage, users should be mindful that its compact footprint may limit the total volume of gear compared to larger, non-compact duffel bags.

FAQs

What are the dimensions of the bag?

The bag measures 66cm x 42cm x 26cm.

Is the bag truly waterproof?

It features a hard-wearing, waterproof base, though the main polyester fabric is water-resistant, not fully submersible.

Can I fit my bedchair inside the bag?

No, the bag is designed to fit under a bedchair, not to house one.

How many external pockets are there?

There are five external pockets in total, plus two top pockets with integrated EVA trays.

Are the internal dividers removable?

Yes, the main compartment can be customized into two or three sections to suit your specific storage needs.

Troubleshooting

Zippers feel stiff or caught

Clear any debris or grit from the zip track and use a silicone-based zipper lubricant if necessary.

Interior dividers keep collapsing

Ensure the velcro attachments are pressed firmly against the internal walls to create a secure bond.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Modular storage system adapts to different tackle needs
Fits conveniently under standard bedchairs to save space
Waterproof base protects gear from muddy ground
Multiple external pockets for quick-access items
High-quality, durable polyester construction

Cons

Compact size may not accommodate oversized equipment
Requires careful packing to maximize the internal sections
Not intended for heavy-duty long-term storage of bulky clothing

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the bag, simply adjust the internal dividers within the main compartment to fit your preferred gear configuration. Ensure the heavy items are placed towards the bottom for better balance when carrying. For long-term care, wipe the polyester exterior with a damp cloth after sessions to remove mud or debris. The waterproof base should be inspected periodically for sharp debris. Store the bag in a dry environment when not in use to maintain the integrity of the fabric and zip components.
